My name is Wayne White. I am both the owner of Emerald Tree Care LLC, and an industry leader in effective early treatment for the Emerald Ash Borer. I have been treating for this insect for six seasons now. My customers are located throughout the lower half of Michigan as well as the Toledo and Bowling Green area of Ohio, and most recently the suburbs of Chicago. The treatments I use have been proven effective by MSU, and the Illinois Dept. of Agriculture is now encouraging homeowners to treat their trees. Thousands of trees are being kept alive due to my efforts!
My two most prominent and successful sites are the Somerset Collection in Troy, Michigan, and the Oakland County International Airport in Waterford, Michigan. Combined, these sites have nearly 450 healthy Ash trees that are thriving in an area where thousands of city ash trees have died and been removed. Please see the "Pictures" portion of my website for photos and more information!
I am licensed and currently treating Ash trees in Michigan, Chicago, Illinois and northern Ohio. Columbus, Ohio is an area where treatments are possible because of arborists I partner with in that city. Contact me ASAP if you have Ash trees in the Columbus area so that we can set up treatment for this spring! And if you are in the Chicago area, the Illinois Department of Agriculture is recommending you start treatments if you are within a 15 mile radius of the infested area of ST. CHARLES, ILLINOIS! Look for my ads in the Suburban Life Publications in Downers Grove, Westmont, Bolingbrook, Lisle, Woodridge, Naperville, Romeoville, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Charendon Hills, Oak Brook, Hinsdale, Darien, Willowbrook and Burr Ridge. I still offer treatments in other cities within a 15 mile radius, but my ads are not there this year.
DON'T LET CHICAGO'S ASH TREES DIE! SAVE YOUR ASH!
For six years, I have been telling everyone that IMIDICLOPRID would work on Emerald Ash Borer! Even in the beginning, when there was no scientific evidence yet available, I was steadfast in my belief that this preventative program would work. I had confidence in this treatment because I was seeing first-hand results! While leading efforts to save the ash trees, I sat on the Emerald Ash Borer Committee for the Michigan Green Industry Association (MGIA). Combining my efforts with those of other leading arborists on this committee, allowed the MGIA to be successful in spreading the word to homeowners that treatment options are available.
