ALL OF MICHIGAN SOUTH OF APPROXIMATELY MT PLEASANT plus OHIO AROUND TOLEDO AND BOWLING GREEN have been part of my treatment area for six seasons now. Thousands of trees are alive in this area due to my efforts. If you live in this area and have ash trees that still look good GET THEM TREATED BEFORE YOU LOSE THEM! The sooner the better!
COLUMBUS, OHIO is now on line for treatment. As the insect is clearly just north of Columbus we need to start preventative treatments in this area ASAP! Especially Delaware County!
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS is also on line for treatment. The insect is clearly in the south western burbs around St. Charles. It will move a lot next year so any areas close need to start treating. I am sure the insect has moved further than currently reported. It is only a matter of time for them to "discover" it in new locations. Remember the EAB shows up in an area 2-3 years before it is detected.
I am partnering with a couple of arborists in these areas who I highly recommend. Contact me with where you live and I will refer you to the best arborist that is close to you. In some cities I plan on doing the treatments myself. Trust that you will be in good hands no matter where you are. I am insisting that treatments mirror what I have already proven to be successful in Michigan. If you are a Commercial Arborist and are treating in other areas of Ohio and are interested in partnering with me to help as many people as possible, then CONTACT ME ASAP!
Areas that are clearly outside the immediate treatment areas can start preventative soil drench treatments and I have a product I can sell to you that you can use both in fall and spring that has proven results. Contact me for more info.
For other people in Cincinnati, Dayton, Cleveland, and Akron, as the insect starts to be reported in your area don't wait. CONTACT me as I am actively looking for solutions in your areas.
Also next year I will be licensed in Indiana. Indianapolis has had this insect for over 8 years. I plan on treating all areas north of Indianapolis and all around South Bend and Fort Wayne and Gary |
